About Max Adriaan.
Max Adriaan. is a music artist/songwriter/producer, dedicated to creating soulful sounds, sonically trying to capture the sparkle in everyday life. He releases independently being heavily influenced by genres like RnB, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz, and Pop. Based in Brighton, UK, he draws inspiration from his surroundings and experiences to craft music that resonates with his audience.
I grew up internationally, having lived in the Netherlands, Hungary, and Thailand and UK before having turned 18. My multi-national upbringing has massively influenced my music journey.
I first developed my feel for vocals when I was 8, scatting in the mirror to songs on the radio while I would get dressed for school. I picked up guitar shortly after but didn't always stick to it like I did singing. He would perform in his schools whenever there was an opportunity doing covers of Frank Sinatra, Kaleo, Ed Sheeran, etc. (Fun Fact: the first song I ever performed in front of an audience was All of Me by John Legend)
Once I graduated high school, I was off to Brighton, UK to pursue my passion, I studied Songwriting and Vocals at BIMM University. This is where I met my current band who, and boy do they make my music come to life (I'm very proud of them). At uni, my taste went from more Folk Pop to RnB/Jazz finding something so undeniably pleasing about the chords in songs by artists like D'Angelo, Anderson .Paak, Tom Misch, which also reignited my guitar passion.
I'm currently releasing my own music independently, having released since November, 2024. I've played at some sick festivals like The Great Escape, Victorious and venues like Peggy's Skylight, the Brighton i360, A L P H A B E T, and many more grass roots venues.
